Who are we?
We are a small, rural school which has a wonderful, nurturing 'family feel'. With 78 children on roll, we get to grow together and nurture and foster each individual child. Within our rural context we strive to provide our children and adults with rich and exciting experiences, through our well planned personal development and extra curricular programme, and through a well sequenced and diverse curriculum. Our vision and values underpin all that we do and the children and staff are encouraged to live out our vision to its fullest so that we ALL (adults and children) 'Have the Roots to Grow, and wings to Fly.'
We aim to foster and develop the whole child, feeding their minds and souls so that they may grow and prosper. We feel all our children leave us in year 6 as well rounded, independent, resilient and courageous individuals. We aim to inspire them to continue to reach high and 'fly' with with their strong roots we have nurtured, enabling them to fly of and live life in all its fullness.
