RNLI and Maritime Museum visit

Class 2 had a wonderful day in Salcombe on Wednesday when they visited the RNLI Station, had a trip on the LIfeboat, went onboard HMS Magpie and visited the Maritime Museum!

The children thoroughly enjoyed learning about the Salcombe pirates and were delighted to leave the museum wearing eye patches and with a 'haul' of treasure courtesy of Mr Barratt!

Chris Winzar, the Coxwain of the Salcombe Lifeboat, said that "It was a pleasure to show such a well-behaved and smart group of youngsters over the boat and station" - well done children for being such great ambassadors for the school.
