Class 4 visit to the Houses of Parliament

On Friday our Class 4 children set off early in the morning to travel to London to visit the Houses of Parliament.

On arriving in London the children were all very excited to see many of the famous landmarks such as the London Eye, Wembley Stadium, Leicester Square and Harrods!  They were all overawed by the skyscapes and memorials.

On arrival the group were met by their visit guide and given individual headsets to wear as they walked around.  They went through each room to see where our politicians meet, and they learnt of many interesting traditions, many of which have come into existence because of Guy Fawkes!  As they left the Houses of Parliament, Big Ben struck 5 o'clock.  A magical way in which to end their day.
