Published 25/11/22This week the children in Class 2 invited their parents and carers to attend their class assembly. As parents arrived, the children handed them sweets. Then the children asked for some volunteers to give their sweets back! This was done so that the part-part-whole model could be demonstrated. There was lots of laughter and everyone agreed that this was a great way in which to bring maths learning to life.

Published 18/11/22What a wonderful array of spots and stripes we saw in school today! The face painting was amazing! It was lovely to see so may of our children come into school wearing spots and stripes as part of our fund-raising day for Children in Need.
Parents and carers donated a delicious array of cakes and biscuits for our School Council to sell during morning break and after school.

Published 04/11/22Years 5 and 6 have been planning and beginning to create their own websites. The children are creating their own pages and learning how to format them, hopefully to eventually publish their own website.

Published 20/10/22This week the children in Class 1 have had great fun learning about food preparation. They created autumn owls from delicious pancakes, bananas, blueberries and apples. Our star bakers definitely deserved a 'Bake Off' handshake when they had finished!

Published 14/10/22Our Eco and gardening Club has had great fund this week filling the pond. They have decided that they would like to add lily pads to the pond when they next work on it. They also made a small ramp out of rocks in case hedgehogs fall in and need to find their way out!

Published 14/10/22On Friday our Year 6 children took part in the life skills morning hosted at Quayside Leisure Centre. They met with local police officers, the ambulance service, coastguard and fire service to learn how to keep themselves and others safe in the wider world.
