School Uniform

School Uniform
Children should wear:
- Red embroidered sweatshirt or cardigan
- White polo shirt or blouse
- Grey or black skirt, trousers or tailored shorts
- Black shoes
- Black or grey tights
- Red gingham summer dress (optional in summer)
Please note: hoodies are not permitted.
PE Kit
All children should bring their PE kit to school every day in a clearly named bag.
PE kit includes:
- Navy blue shorts
- Red T-shirt
- Trainers or Velcro plimsolls
During colder weather, children should also bring a dark tracksuit to wear over their PE kit.
Outdoor Clothing
Summer
- Please apply sun cream before school on sunny days
- Children should bring a sun hat
Winter
- A warm waterproof coat is essential
- Hats and gloves are recommended in very cold weather
Footwear
For safety and independence, children should wear shoes with:
- Velcro fastenings, or
- Buckles
Lace-up shoes should only be worn if children can tie them independently.
The following are not suitable for school:
- Ugg-style boots
- Open-toe sandals
- Flip flops
- Crocs
Jewellery
- Jewellery should not be worn to school
- Small stud earrings are permitted for pierced ears only
Earrings must be removed for PE and sports activities.
If your child has recently had their ears pierced, please provide a letter authorising staff to tape over earrings during PE lessons.
Labelling Clothing
Please ensure all clothing and belongings are clearly labelled with your child’s name.
School Bags
Children are provided with a school book bag for reading books and homework. Replacement bags are available from the school office.
Water Bottles
Children should bring a water bottle to school every day to keep in the classroom and access throughout the day.
