School Closure During School Hours

In the event that we need to close due to severe weather or other unforeseen circumstances during the school day, it is likely that school transport will be affected.

We will send parents and carers an email/text message advising that the school is closing. If you receive this message, please reply to confirm whether your child will be collected by car or should travel home on the bus.  If they are walking home please confirm who will be collecting them.

Please contact the school by email, where possible, to help keep the phone lines clear.

If severe weather is involved and your school relies on school buses, there may be a considerable delay before buses are able to leave, as we must ensure that all children can be safely met at the end of their journey. We will continue to look after your child until we receive confirmation of your collection or transport arrangements.

Information will be posted and regularly updated on the school website and shared on our social media platforms.
