Reporting an Absence

Please report any absence to the school office by 9.00am.

Term-Time Absence

The law does not grant parents/carers an automatic right to take their children out of school during term time.

If you are requesting an absence during term time, you must have Parental Responsibility and be the parent/carer with whom the child normally lives. Permission must be sought in advance.

Where the circumstances relating to the absence request are considered to be exceptional, and the absence is authorised by the school, authorisation will be conditional upon the child/children having attended school satisfactorily up to the date covered by the request.
